The BTE-401680 is an aftermarket billet aluminum TH400 reverse shift pattern transbrake valve body with external mount solenoid that is designed for racing. The BTE-401680 also includes the additional option of a first and second gear transbrake function. The perfect upgrade for applications that sometimes need to leave in second gear because of varying track conditions.
BTE machines these valve bodies from aircraft grade aluminum which yields a unit that is lighter than OEM steel versions, and the solid design is more rigid than the veined OEM design, improving strength. Most importantly, this new valve body omits the unnecessary fluid channels found in the OEM style units, providing a more direct fluid path. BTE utilizes the Griner designed fluid network in the BTE-401680 which provides faster and cleaner shifts. This kit also contains a new external mount solenoid, manual valve, gaskets, upgrade springs, and instruction sheet. This valve body is made in the USA.
